Welcome to Put-in-Bay! South Bass Island is home to many attractions you won’t want to miss, and the best way to reach them all is with a Put-in-Bay golf cart rental.
The island is in the middle of Lake Erie and close to cities like Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo. As a result, it is no wonder hundreds of thousands of visitors come to see what the hype is all about each year. When you are at the ferry dock of the Jet Express or Miller Ferry, brace yourself for a blast! The Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Center will help make your island experience one to remember.
The Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Center is the most convenient golf cart rental agency on the island. As long as you are over 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license, you will be able to rent one of our 4- or 6-person golf carts!
We offer hourly rates, daily rentals and even an overnight rental option. In addition, guests staying at the Island Club Home Rentals and Put-in-Bay Waterfront Condos have access to private golf cart rentals and there is no extra fee for keeping your golf cart rental overnight.
From the moment you step off of one of the Put-in-Bay ferries, we want to do our part in making your trip amazing.
We get a lot of questions about where to go and what to see once customers get their golf cart rental. There are Put-in-Bay attractions for every age and interest. As a rule of thumb, spending a few hours strolling through downtown Put-in-Bay and Delaware Ave is the best place to start. Find your favorite Put-in-Bay restaurant and enjoy a cold beverage of your choice.
Then, go to the top of Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial. If you and your group were looking to relax at a swimming pool, most of the Put-in-Bay hotels and resorts are open to the public. The best one is MIST Pool Bar located behind Mr. Ed’s downtown. Lastly, for an incredible island sunset, head over to the South Bass Island State Park, you won’t believe you are in Ohio!
Our staff works very hard to offer our customers the best golf cart rental rates. We will be offering discounted prices as the season goes by. As previously mentioned, there is no extra overnight golf cart rental fee for guests staying at the Island Club and Put-in-Bay Condos. We comp it as a courtesy to those guests staying on the island overnight.
Onsite, we have 4- and 6-passenger golf carts for your Put-in-Bay island adventures. Gas powered and electric golf carts are available at the Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Center. You will never have to worry about running out of gas as your rental will come with full tank of gas. In addition, the island’s golf carts come from reliable brands like Yamaha, Club Car, and EZ-GO.
It is important that all drivers and passengers obey all the traffic laws when riding in their golf cart rental for both gas and electric carts alike. Golf carts must have seat belts, turn signals, taillights just like regular licensed vehicles and all of our carts comply with this.
Each one also has a lock to secure the cart when you go into one of our tasty Put-in-Bay restaurants. Drivers must always have a valid drivers license on them. After all, all golf carts on Put-in-Bay are considered licensed motor vehicles.
When booking, make sure your group does not have more than the cart capacity limit. For example, 5 people cannot ride on a 4 person cart. Also, keep in mind that weekday rental rates may differ from weekend rates. The Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Center can be found just off Langram Rd behind the Put-in-Bay airport. The address is: 1627 Starboard Trail Put-In-Bay, OH 43456.
